Juniors (Ages 13-15)

  • Focus is competitive and played on regulation 90-foot diamonds.
  • 13 year-olds are drafted by managers after tryouts their first year and stay on the same team as returning 14 year-olds.  All new players to the league must attend tryouts, and will be drafted by managers.  Any 15 year-olds, must attend tryouts, and will be placed in the draft pool, to assure a competitive balance between teams.
  • Practices start around April 1, depending on weather.  League games start around the beginning of May.  The Juniors play a schedule that includes Elmbrook Little League games, and on occasion, Inter League games.  Regular season play is completed in mid-June, with a post-season tournament to follow.  The tournament ends before the 4th of July, and culminates in a championship game at Mitchell Park.
  • Participation in District One All-Stars will extend the season for players selected.  All-Stars is limited to Little League Age 13 and 14 year-olds.  This tournament usually begins a few days after Independence Day.
  • 15 Year-olds who fail to make their high school team(s) and have not been previously placed on an Elmbrook Little League team, have the ability to join the league, assuming there is space still available.
